How it works

Project Maps live in a workspace, get shaped around your tasks, and reach the people who need them. Three pieces, one way of working.

1

Maps

A map solves one task. Not a platform full of features, but a clear answer to a concrete question.

Each Project Map is shaped around a single job — explaining a plan, gathering input, tracking progress, capturing the field.

2

Workspace

Project Maps live in a workspace, get shaped around your tasks, and reach the people who need them. Three pieces, one way of working.

The workspace fits the shape of your work. Ongoing across an organisation, or dedicated to a single project with its own scope and lifecycle.

3

Publishing

Maps reach their audience through an XKP atlas, or embedded in a platform you already use.

The choice is about where the map is seen, not how it's made — and you manage it from the same workspace either way.

Managed, not self-service

A working setup from day one.

XKP Project Maps is not a tool you buy and configure alone. We bring years of experience from spatial projects, set up your workspace with you, and shape the maps around your tasks. From there, you add your project data — and keep ownership of the work.

You start with a setup that works. The content is yours to build.

Every map automatically builds the record. You don't have to log it — it's already there.

Audit trail comes built-in with every Project Map.

Atlas

A publishing space for sharing a selection of maps. Open to the public, or private for a specific audience.

Notify me

Let stakeholders subscribe to map updates and get notified when something changes near them.

GeoDraw

Sketch annotations directly on the map, by hand or precisely. For proposing, marking up, or showing intent.

GeoPhoto

Attach field photos to exact locations. For baseline measurements, progress checks, or visual reporting.

Excel to map

Update map layers by uploading an Excel sheet. No interface to learn — your data lives where you already keep it.

PDF to map

The PDF drawing is usually already there. Bring it onto the map and your plan is in place.

AI analysis

Sort incoming reactions by mood, theme, type and priority — so you know what to pick up first.

Participate

Turn any map into a canvas where stakeholders post reactions. Comments land at the location they refer to.

Tools worth knowing

Beyond the maps, a handful of features that make the work tangible.
